Stemma for the collection of capitularies compiled by Ansegis
This stemma represents the collection of capitularies compiled by Ansegis. It is based on the introduction of Gerhard Schmitz to his MGH edition. It only shows the textual dependencies and does not indicate a strict chronological order for individual manuscripts. Compared to the detailed analysis by Schmitz, the graphic visualisation required some simplifications. In particular, no distinction is made between clear filiations and hypothetical dependencies. The stemma is intended to serve as a guide for a quick overview of the manuscript dissemination.
