With Reginensis 291, another partial early modern copy of the lost capitulary collection of Beauvais has been made available. We have treated this major collection once<\/a> or twice<\/a> in blog posts already. The new page complements the previously published partial transcriptions from that collection in Reginensis 980<\/a>, Vaticanus 4982<\/a>, Parisinus 1567<\/a> and Vallicellianus C. 16<\/a>.<\/p>\n Besides a whole raft of capitularies from the time of Charles the Bald, Reginensis 291 also contains BK 7<\/a> from Merovingian times, of which another transcription is present in Avranches 145. And from our ongoing work of transcribing Charlemagne’s capitularies, both Avranches 145 and Berlin Savigny 1 offer, amongst other pieces, copies of a very popular pair of capitularies from 803, namely BK 39<\/a> and BK 40<\/a>.
