Grigorii Borisov<\/a><\/strong> has just finished his PhD on the transmission of the Leges Frisionum and Thuringorum, and their creation in the time of Charlemagne. Starting on 1 September he is now part of our team!<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, in August and September we are hosting a guest researcher: <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.u-tokyo.ac.jp\/focus\/en\/people\/k0001_04413.html\">Prof Dr Shigeto Kikuchi<\/a><\/strong> (Tokyo) is working on his current research projects on Carolingian capitularies and charters, and we are looking forward to jointly discuss his results here in Cologne.<\/p>\n<p>To both a warm &#8216;Welcome&#8217;!<br \/>\n<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are happy to announce the arrival of a new colleague at the Capitularia project: Dr des.
