A. 1157; von Paganus im Auftrag des Abts Johannes Strambus von Sant’ Ilario (bei Venedig) geschrieben (Einträge fol. lr, Kolophon fol. 75r etc.).

Provenance:

Kloster Sant’ Ilario (bei Venedig). Alte Signatur: Fonds Salis N° 8.

Note:

Das Nekrologium foll. 77-100 stammt aus dem 14. Jh., während fol. 101 mit Professiones, Wappen und Federproben (ab Ende 13. Jh.) schon früher letztes Blatt der Hs. gewesen sein dürfte.
Wie häufig, so folgt auch in der Metzer Überlieferung das Capitulare monasticum III Ludwigs des Frommen auf die Benediktregel. Zusammen mit dem Martyrolog und dem späteren Nekrolog dürfte die Hs. einst als Kapiteloffiziumsbuch gedient haben.
